KNF wpisuje na listę 6 nowych podmiotów, w tym 4 scamy inwestycyjne

Polish Financial Supervision Authority announced on March 13, 2025, that it had expanded its warning list by 6 new items. These are primarily so-called "investment platforms" operating without any permits, the purpose of which is to extort funds from unsuspecting investors. The following have been added to the warning list: Apex Fin. Bank, Prime Capital Credit Union Investment Bank, Smart Invest Studio, Lincoln Financial Service Ltd, www.szybkopodzastaw.pl and facebook group "BPH Investment Fund Company". More details below.

KNF supplements the list of warnings

The KNF public warning list is a list of entities against which proceedings are being conducted by the prosecutor's office. These are usually companies, people or fictitious entities suspected of violating laws and regulations related to investments, finances and more. In practice, these are very often typical fraudsters whose only goal is to extort funds or personal data from potential victims. These are also companies that have violated Polish law in terms of their activities, e.g. in terms of advertising, information contained on the website and more. But not always.

In this case, 6 entities were put on the warning list, 4 of which are traditional "investment scams" that create fictitious investment platforms. The other two entities are a Facebook profile that illegally uses the name "investment fund company" and a website offering collateral loans.

The KNF warns against:

  • Apex Fin. Bank operating using the website apexfinbgw.sbs
  • Prime Capital Credit Union Investment Bank operating using the website primecapitaleuco.sbs
  • entity operating through the website www.szybkopodzastaw.pl
  • an unidentified person running a profile on the social networking site Facebook under the name "BPH Investment Fund Company"
