Fartcoin (FRTC) – Can Fartcoin Bring Profit?

Fartcoin (FRTC) – czy „zbijanie bąków” może przynieść zyski?

The cryptocurrency market has been attracting attention for years not only due to revolutionary ideas and new technology, but also thanks to memecoins. Although investing in memecoins may seem unserious at first glance, the history of many of them shows that during periods of market booms, this segment was able to bring investors spectacular profits, and some projects can grow by hundreds or even thousands of percent in a very short time. Among the new and unusual ideas, one stands out Fartcoin, a project that was born from a combination of absurd humor and an artificial intelligence experiment. Although its name makes you smile, Fartcoin quickly gained popularity and showed that in the world of memecoins, it's all about feeling the trend and engaging the community.

In this article, we will take a closer look at this cryptocurrency and what is behind its success, and answer the question: Can Fartcoin grow further (and by how much)?

What is Fartcoin (FRTC)?

To understand Fartcoin, you first need to understand memecoins in general. Memecoins are cryptocurrencies, which were created mainly as a joke or parody of traditional cryptocurrency projects. Their name comes from the word "meme", which is an internet meme, which immediately suggests their entertaining and often frivolous nature. The most famous example of a memecoin is Dogecoin, which was initially created as a joke based on a popular Shiba Inu dog meme. Over time, however, Dogecoin and other memecoins have gained a lot of popularity among investors and online communities, often fueled by social media influencers and speculation. Memecoins do not usually represent any enterprise or technology, as can be found in more traditional cryptocurrency projects. Their market value can be very volatile, and their success often depends on internet trends and popularity among the community, rather than on actual use or broadly understood,  “fundamental” value of the project.

Despite this, memecoins turned out to be cryptocurrencies that gave one of the highest rates of return during "bullish" periods on the market. Based on this observation, many investors are trying their luck by investing in memecoins. This type of investment was particularly popular at the beginning of 2024, when dozens of projects appeared on the cryptocurrency market within a few months, the capitalizations of which ranged from several dozen million to even several billion dollars, and all started "from scratch".

One of such projects is Fartcoin, discussed in this article. Fartcoin was created in October 2024 and literally means “Fart-coin”. It's obviously not a cryptocurrency with any working business model or technological breakthrough behind it. It's just a memecoin centered around farting (as absurd as that may sound).

What is interesting is the fact that Fartcoin grew in just 3 months to a capitalization of over $2,5 billion at ATH in January this year and this without being listed on any of the largest exchanges or platforms such as Coinbase, Binance or RobinHood. Although, with the general correction in the global markets and the crypto market, Fartcoin also saw a correction, which amounted to about -90% from the peaks.

It is worth noting, however, that with the growth that has been taking place in the cryptocurrency market in recent weeks, Fartcoin is one of the fastest growing cryptocurrencies. From a low of 23 cents in early March, Fartcoin has grown to its current level of around $1,1, which is almost a five-fold increase.

So another question arises: Will these increases continue, and if so, how long?

Will Fartcoin grow any further?

The history of memecoins teaches us that we should never underestimate the power of internet hype. In the past, we have seen how Dogecoin – which started as a “doggie joke” – exploded under the influence of viral tweets (including those of Elon Musk) and achieved a sky-high capitalization of around USD 88 billion. Similarly Shiba Inu, created in 2020 as a parody of Dogecoin, was valued at around $2021 billion at the height of the mania in October 40. So if previous memecoins managed to jump to the forefront of the crypto market, does Fartcoin – already one of the stars of 2025 – have a chance to follow in their footsteps?

At the time of writing, Fartcoin has already seen a rally that took it from virtually zero to a capitalization of over $2 billion at an all-time high of around $2,52 per unit in early 2025.

For example Pepe Coin (PEPE), inspired by the internet frog meme “Pepe”, debuted in 2023 and quickly reached a value of over $1,6 billion, and at its peak in early December 2024, the capitalization of this cryptocurrency reached over $10 billion. In turn, on the Solana blockchain, the Dogwifhat (WIF) token, a memecoin depicting a dog in a pink hat, gained huge popularity. WIF was launched at the turn of 2023 and 2024 and after literally a few months grew from zero to a capitalization of over $4 billion.

Looking at these examples, the potential for further growth of Fartcoin seems theoretically large – at least in the eyes of the most optimistic speculators. It is still far from the records of Dogecoin or Shiba Inu, which for some is an argument that “if DOGE could grow to almost $90 billion, then FARTCOIN can also increase its value, for example, 10 times”. Indeed, if Fartcoin were to achieve a capitalization of several dozen billion dollars, its price would have to increase many times from its current levels. This is not impossible in conditions of extreme market euphoria – especially if Fartcoin were to gain mainstream attention.

Memecoins are driven more by crowd psychology than classic financial valuations. If the Fartcoin community remains active and the crypto market sentiment remains positive, further growth is possible, driven by FOMO (Ang. fear of missing out) – investors’ fear of “missing the opportunity of a lifetime”. There are already headlines in the industry asking whether Fartcoin will “shoot again”, and technical analyses predicting further resistance levels (e.g. $1,25 and $1,55 as key barriers to break through). There are also voices of well-known traders on Twitter (X), who half-jokingly, half-seriously encourage further growth, commenting that “it’s an absurd project, but it brings absurdly real profits”.

Summary

Fartcoin is a great example of how memecoins, despite their absurd nature, can become a serious player in the cryptocurrency market. In times of bullishness, investors often look for projects with high potential returns, even if they are just internet jokes and social media enthusiasm.

The history of Dogecoin Shiba Inu or more recent examples like PEPE or Dogwifhat shows that in the crypto world, it's not just technology that counts, but also emotions, trends, and the viral reach of a given cryptocurrency. Fartcoin quickly gained popularity, reaching billion-dollar valuations and showing that even such an absurd idea as a cryptocurrency literally related to farting can attract crowds and real money.

Fartcoin's future will largely depend on whether it manages to maintain community interest and capitalize on the current positive market sentiment, and whether it will ride the wave of further increases that often and quickly turn into mass, speculative euphoria on the cryptocurrency market. However, as history shows, it is entirely possible for Fartcoin to reach a multi-billion valuation in the future.
