Which companies will be short of electricity bills? [Closer to the Stock Exchange]

On Friday evening, there were reports of an indefinite halt in the market gas transmission the Nord Stream gas pipeline. Previous concerns of an extension by Gazprom The "three-day maintenance" of the pipeline turned out to be right. Meanwhile, the Kremlin announced that gas supplies would be resumed only after the economic sanctions imposed on Russia by Western countries were completely lifted. The market reacted to these reports with a short but dynamic rally in the prices of Dutch TTF gas contracts. Under the scenario of a complete suspension of Russian supplies and assuming normal weather conditions, Europe may run out of gas as early as March.

Which companies will suffer the most?

The energy crisis and rising electricity prices may also significantly affect the results of individual companies listed on the Polish stock exchange. However, investors 'attention is drawn to the Wednesday's monetary decision of the Monetary Policy Council, which according to economists' forecasts will raise interest rates by 25 bp.
