CFDs are complex instruments and come with a high risk of losing money rapidly due to leverage. From 68% to 89% of retail investor accounts record monetary losses as a result of trading CFDs. Think about whether you understand how CFDs work and whether you can afford the high risk of losing your money.

Bitcoin broker - what is the most important?

Choosing the right broker to trade can be a key aspect that will outweigh our success or failure. Bitcoin price changes 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Some of the companies, however, do not offer weekend trading. This creates a risk of a price gap in the opening quotes on Sunday and therefore not being able to react in an emergency at any time. Another downside is transaction costs - unfortunately, in this field, currency brokers, who, however, have a different specialization than cryptocurrencies, often have quite high transaction fees for tokens.

However, a significant advantage is the comfort of trading. We have access to advanced trading platforms, equipped with a lot of analytical tools, the ability to handle automatic strategies and custom tools. Another argument is security - currency brokers are under the supervision of domestic financial institutions. As a result, our funds are most often covered by the guarantee fund, and the company itself must meet certain security and reporting requirements and maintain a high standard of service.

    • Security of funds,
    • Financial leverage,
    • Advanced transaction platform,
    • Low entry deposit,
    • Protection against uprising on the invoice.

    • No quotes on weekends (not always),
    • Usually high spreads.

Bitcoin broker and alternative solutions

Cryptocurrency wallet

It is worth being aware that when choosing a Forex broker to invest in cryptocurrencies, in most cases we conclude transactions on CFD instruments based on virtual tokens. This means that we do not become their actual owner of a given cryptocurrency, but only a contract related to its price. In order for us to become the actual owners of a virtual token that we can use, for example, for payments in networks or stores (some already accept this form), we must keep the token on our cryptocurrency wallet.

Cryptocurrency exchanges

However, what if we are only interested in speculation, we do not want to pay anywhere with cryptocurrencies, and Forex brokers do not interest us? The answer can be Cryptocurrency exchanges. It is certainly a worthy alternative - cryptocurrency exchanges that specialize in brokering transactions on these instruments and are able to offer favorable trading conditions. Low fees, high liquidity, as well as many interesting, side solutions, such as an account card, proprietary tokens, which allow you to additionally reduce transaction costs, as well as

The downside is the limited level of government oversight of these institutions, which adversely affects the level of security (no guarantee funds). In addition, trading platforms rarely offer such spectacular opportunities as those from Forex brokers.

    • Low transaction costs,
    • A very large amount of cryptocurrencies to trade,
    • Interesting additional solutions (card to the account, own token).

    • Frequent lack of regulation,
    • No guarantee fund,
    • Usually less advanced trading platforms.

Payment operators

The last option is to use the services of payment operators, which are large institutions, trustworthy, and at the same time offer a very simple mechanism for acquiring popular cryptocurrencies. This solution was also offered by the world-famous payment broker revolutaand also Skrill. It is enough to have an electronic wallet with a given intermediary, which the vast majority is used to shop online and abroad. Thanks to this, the topping up of the account takes literally a moment. And it takes a similar amount of time to buy cryptocurrencies. A few clicks and it's ready. Nothing easier!

    • Great simplicity and convenience in purchase,
    • Satisfactory level of security.

    • No leverage
    • No analysis possible.

The risk of investing in cryptocurrencies

When deciding to invest in cryptocurrencies, you should remember about the risks involved. Relatively new instruments with relatively low liquidity can be easily susceptible to manipulation by other market participants. In addition, a large amplitude of fluctuations using leverage can lead to both spectacular profits and fast losses.

National Bank of Poland and Polish Financial Supervision Authority they published a special document information sheet on the risks of trading virtual "currencies".

I would not put Inter trader in any offer or combination. I have extensive experience with this broker. The game against the client and the max. From my experience with this broker, I assume that if they even had zero spreads on everything, there is nothing to push to them because he is doing a bamboo trader on everything (slightly said). I once touched this topic in the section about this broker. They can rob in every possible way the client.

Tantric, I remember more or less your case from the navigator forum. From what I'm told, the problems were with strong spreads on less popular pairs at night (correct me if I'm wrong). In my experience, this does not indicate a bad will of the broker (though maybe). In most cases, however, this is a problem with the infrastructure and / or providers of feed or liquidity.

I personally traded in IT for several months. Mostly aggressive scalping on the DAX. The volume varies from very low to several dozen lots. Transactions about a thousand, and the account is a lot in the black - if I have a transaction history somewhere I can see it, as if someone accused me of lying :-). Throughout this time, the only alarming signal was the 2-week problem with the execution of orders (greater slips, worse execution). The broker claimed it was a temporary problem due to a change in liquidity provider. So I took a break and came back after some time - the trade continued flawlessly.

But where am I going… How many traders, so many strategies. There is no perfect broker and everyone has some disadvantages. Sometimes bigger, sometimes smaller. The task of traders, i.e. ours, is to find an offer that will be compatible with how we want to trade.

        Paul ;

Not only with this. The money was also lost from the account on the weekend.
This broker is the property of a company that deals only with gambling, that is, processing its clients from the cash register. do you think that when they launched MT4, they will behave differently with clients? Will she suddenly become honest?

Deciding on gambling you do not have to help anyone to lose ;-). Probability calculus will do the trick. However, I did not use the services of the parent company, only IT. The account was maintained for about half a year and I had a maximum of about 25 on it. EUR. Payment of profits always on time.
I do not deny that you had problems with him but personally, with my scalping trade, I did not experience anything negative, both when handling orders (except for the mentioned two unfortunate weeks), and when making deposits / withdrawals.

          There are no ideals… 🙂

exactly like that - there are no ideals, because if they were, everyone would have accounts there and nowhere else ... :-)

      Hello Emilia,
In the comparison we focused on the aspects related mainly to Bitcoin trading. But if there is a demand, then of course we will expand them within an hour with the offer parameters you mentioned :).

      Hi Daro,
The information in the table is current. In XTB, the minimum Bitcoin spread is 1% of the market value. So this is a spread, in fact, but expressed in the form of a commission (depending on the BTC rate). Similarly in Plus500.

I'm playing crypto because it's hard to call trading in XTB. plus that they also quote on weekends, because in dukascopy, for example, this is not the case and there is a problem with gaps. it's a shame because I prefer JFOREX.
