xStation Mobile

This is a mobile version of the proprietary xStation platform created by XTB. You can't help but get the impression that the authors wanted to do something different than everyone else, and in some respects they managed to do so - unfortunately sometimes to the disadvantage of the user. Assessing the speed of operation and stability, it can be said that the platform is equal to MT4 - all functions load incredibly fast, and I was not able to catch any errors. The menu is different than anywhere - the main tabs, available at hand, are the types of instruments offered by the broker (currencies, commodities, indices, etc.), while the "additional" tabs, which are called other windows of the platform, such as charts or orders (where also transaction history) are available after expanding the menu on the left side of the platform. Is it wrong? A matter of taste. At the bottom of the screen, we can see the account status and the balance of the items all the time. Unfortunately, we cannot change the colors of the charts or the platform itself.

The charts are much better structured than on the trader. The buttons for concluding transactions are available all the time under the chart and they do not cover it in any way - it is as it should be. Unfortunately, we are dealing with a certain paradox. xStation Mobile is equipped with a large amount of facilities, while the indicators are like medicine. It's usually the other way around. And again, unfortunately, the management of indicators and objects is a bit of a lack of functionality - any changes or deletion of objects force us to navigate the top menu of the chart and enter subsequent tabs. You could implement some of the functions by holding your finger on objects, and unfortunately this option is completely inactive on xStation Mobile.

You can have small reservations about trading. While buying / selling is easy, it is difficult to quickly add SL / TP / TS to an active position. From the main window we have to go to the side menu to orders, then select the instrument so that all items will unfold, then select one of them, enter the "Modify" window, select SL and select the level. This is definitely too many activities for the Forex market. The extras include a calendar with macroeconomic data - it looks quite nice - and news from the market. Unfortunately, the news is only displayed in English.

SWFX Trader

This is a proprietary application Dukascopy broker, which is to be the mobile equivalent of JForex. The Swiss broker has always put security in the first place, hence, for example, in addition to the login password, you also need to provide a defined PIN - and that every time but ... The mobile application improves this process and allows you to replace our password and PIN with a fingerprint (if our device has such a function) - a great thing that combines a high degree of security and speed of launch. Unfortunately, it is not known why, sometimes the platform will ask us to enter the PIN itself. SWFX Trader is very well toned in color. The buttons are large and legible, thanks to which it is easy to operate the entire platform, even with the thumb, especially when concluding transactions.

Has basic options for personalization, such as choosing a volume unit and defining default values, the ability to automatically add TP / SL or chart settings. There are many more options than in MT4. Similarly with the so-called "Bajerami" - there is a whole lot of widgets available, such as calendars (as many as 4 types!), Forex TV, Pattern Radar, sentiment, Pivot points - there is a lot to choose from and a huge plus.

All types of transactions are available, i.e. in addition to the standard ones, also Bid / Offer orders. The Market Depth (DoM) has also been added to the Market Order window. In the Portfolio tab, there are two additional buttons that allow you to close all open positions or cancel all pending orders with one click. A super convenient option for people who rely on e.g. pyramiding. Standard three types of charts and basic 9 time intervals + 10-second are available. When changing the orientation of the graph to the horizontal one, unfortunately, you can choose the time interval so each time you want to make a change you have to go back to the vertical orientation. Standard indicators are available, although the process of adding / removing them could be easier. A definite minus for not being able to add objects to charts, even as basic as horizontal, vertical and even trend-setting lines. Despite the use of 12 languages, the platform is not available in Polish. But what's interesting, news in Polish is available in the news widget from the market :-).
