Tickmill improves the financial result by 118%
The British broker Tickmill Forex presented its financial results for the 2016 year. The increase in net profit by 118% year-on-year shows the dynamic development of the company and the constantly growing interest in the offer by traders.
Results in numbers
- Net profit rose to 6.27 million USD compared to 2.88 million USD in the 2015 year.
- Operating income increased almost 3, from 5,55 million USD in 2015 to 15,85 million USD in 2016.
- The volume of customer transactions reached USD 473 million compared to USD 208 million in 2015 - the forecast was USD 330 million.
Duncan Anderson, CEO Tickmill:
"The excellent financial results achieved in the 2016 year mainly result from the growing number of new customers in Tickmill's target markets. Customers are aware of our high quality services. "
The main goal for 2016 was to obtain the FCA license and to develop the offer on the British market. Another priority was the attack on Asian markets, which are considered to be one of the most attractive in the current economic situation. This is not all - Tickmill's expansion also includes the MENA region and South America, which should have a strong impact on 2017 results.
D. Anderson adds:
"Tickmill has become the preferred broker for intelligent traders and institutional clients who appreciate low spreads, low commissions, ultra-fast order execution and trading environment, where all strategies are allowed, including scalping and trading in macroeconomic data."
Perspectives and expectations for 2017
The goals for this year are equally ambitious. The annual turnover is estimated at USD 600-650 million. Tickmill also plans to attack other markets by becoming a global broker. Expansion is not everything - raising awareness of the TIckmill brand and creating a strong network of partners and introducing new products and services are means to achieve our goals.
Tickmill on the Polish market
The broker entered our home market at the end of last year. FCA regulations, a transparent and simple offer based on attractive commission rates quickly gained the sympathy of traders. Commissions on the STP / ECN market in the amount of 0,0020% are the rates with which it is difficult to compete.
