MQL Signals service failure

created Paweł Mosionek8 May 2017

Along with the new week, the social trading website belonging to MetaQuotes, the creators of the iconic MetaTrader platform - MQL Signals, experienced a failure.

Problems with connection

We have received information from many traders using this site about problems related to the sharing and copying of games from all trading platforms into real accounts (probably with the demo accounts there is the same problem). Traders trying to use the signals receive an infinite message waiting for a connection to the server: "Signal - connecting to signal server". The problems started at the weekend or with the opening of the markets on Sunday evening (could it be the result of elections in France? 🙂).

Support MQL Signals is silent

Already at night, inquiries were sent to the technical department and a thread was created on the MQL5 discussion forum - so far, no one has received an official answer to what is actually happening with the service and when it can be expected to resume its operation.

Discussion on the MQL5 forum

The current situation shows that technical problems can affect anyone and can happen not only to Forex brokers and their platforms.

"SigTrader in trouble"

A new series of articles devoted to investments with the use of social trading platforms - "I Can't Trade", was launched on the Forex Club portal at the beginning of April. SigTrader, an investor with 10 years of experience, summed up the results of its actions since the beginning of this year. year (read: I Can Trade! Summary of results from 4 months). The failure with which we are currently dealing will affect the project results. Significantly, SigTrader bases its trade on the MQL Signals website. However, we hope that it will not have a significant impact on the results achieved and will not affect its liquidity.
