GlobalMaxis on the KNF's list of warnings

Polish Financial Supervision Authority added a new entity to the list of public alerts. It is the GlobalMaxis "investment" platform, offering brokerage services through the globalmaxis.com/pl domain. We warn you against using the services of this broker. Details below.

GlobalMaxis on the alert list

On July 27, 2021, the list of public alerts was "expanded" with a new entry. GlobalMaxis and its domain have been found to operate illegally, i.e. without the required permits and licenses. Currently, the site of the "broker" is not available, but it is possible that it is only temporary.

The official reason for the entry on the list is the notification regarding the suspicion of committing a crime under Art. 178 of the Act on Trading in Financial Instruments, i.e. conducting activities in the field of trading in financial instruments without the required permit or authorization. The proceedings were initiated by the KNF Office and the case is being conducted by the District Prosecutor's Office in Warsaw.

We warn against using the services of unlicensed companies. Before opening an account, always make sure it is correct the broker has the appropriate regulations and permits at the indicated financial market supervisory institution.
