Successful investing during the competition involves choosing the right market. It is best if we find a financial instrument that will follow a regular trend. It is also important that there is sufficient volatility on the market that will allow us to achieve a high rate of return.

The investor turned out to be the record holder in the first round Jahonen, with a score of over 411 proc. He opened only 10 transactions, of which only one proved to be lossy. The winner of the first week focused his attention on oil market. The American variety of raw material (WTI) is one of two popular types of "black gold". From the very start of the competition, WTI oil gained significantly. On Monday (June 15) it was still valued at USD 34,4 per barrel. At the end of the week, the price hit the round ceiling of $ 40. Oil increases are the result of good moods in global markets. Restrictions on the extraction of OPEC + countries and the growing global economy from lockdown are the main factors supporting oil valuation. In addition to the commodity market, the leader chose the stock indexes segment, and more specifically it was German DAX index. Transactions on DE30 (contract for index) gave him over 6 net profit.

Individual investments lasted much shorter - on average a few or several minutes. In this case, the "long" positions prevailed, but it can be seen that the investor also tried his hand at short selling.
