Professional Investor Conference - report

Last weekend (November 22-24.11.2013, XNUMX), Władysławowo hosted one of the largest investment events in Poland - the Professional Investor conference, organized by the Association of Individual Investors. Due to the fact that the Forex Club took media patronage over this event (as one of the few companies related to the Forex market), we also went there in full. Below is a short report from the conference.

The total number of registered participants who took part in this 3-day event was approx. 380. This means that it was one of the largest events related to investing right after the Wall Street conference, which was also organized by the Association of Individual Investors, and because the participation was paid, there were no casual people there.

A large number of companies exhibited their stands, where each participant could make contact with their representatives and ask a number of questions or check the operation of the platform. The forex industry was represented by: BZ WBK, TMS Brokers, BossaFX and WH Selfinvest.

The lectures were held simultaneously in two rooms, so it was impossible to be present at all but their division was so thought-out that everyone could find something for themselves and explore knowledge depending on the range of interests (Forex and WSE, technical analysis and automatic trading, etc .).

The educational icing of the event was the speeches of Rafał Gliniecki and Gavin Holmes, who promote the increasingly popular technique Volume Spread Analysis, a practical approach to Elliott wave theory and market geometry. Was there something interesting there? The attendance at this training was so large that it required the addition of additional chairs, and this speaks for itself :-). In order not to be just a dry theory, during the lecture Gavin supported his words with his real bill, which he even managed to earn :-).

However, it is not the ambitious trader who is living alone. What was also needed was entertainment in the form of a small disco or Saturday performance, well-known cabaret Tomasz Jachimek, which allowed to relieve the mind after all-day education.
