Return of the bull market or just a correction? [Video comment]

created Forex Club30 May 2022

Last week's minutes FOMC turned out to be not as hawkish as the market expected. Nevertheless - in recent days we could not complain about the lack of volatility on the charts. Although investors' moods remain really weak, the recent increases in the indices allow for a bit of optimism. The bullish signals for the market are certainly a massive buy-back of own shares or the return of the curve VIX index to normal structure. Meanwhile, the market oil it is still very high up. The fiasco of the European embargo on Russian oil and the record-high backwardation on Brent certainly do not support further price increases. Considering the ongoing war in Ukraine and the historical behavior of oil prices during similar conflicts - the greatest increases may already be behind us. Meanwhile, the heavily sold out cryptocurrency market tempts with valuations. Very negative market attitude towards Bitcoin however, it should be a warning to investors looking for long positions in this market.

Indexes are rising - temporarily or "for a long time"?
