Trading CFDs on cryptocurrencies at FxPro is also possible on weekends

created Paweł MosionekAugust 4 2021

Cypriot broker FxPro announced the extension of cryptocurrency trading hours also to weekends. So far, trading could only take place from Sunday evening to Friday - now it will take place 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Fashion for cryptocurrencies

Virtual assets have already become so popular that virtually everyone who wants to be counted on the broker market must have them on offer. Initially, few of them offered them in 2016-2017. Then they gradually began to disappear from companies' offers, until now - when the cryptocurrency market has matured - they are again on the top. The competition is also growing, so brokers have been forced to offer their clients more and more attractive trading conditions.

Forex brokers only offer trading on Cryptocurrency-Based CFDs.

Trading cryptocurrencies excluding weekends in such a volatile market (some brokers still stick to it) loses sense for most traders, hence FxPro decided to change it. Trading on weekends is available from July 31 this year. on MT4, MT5 and Edge CFD platforms. Cryptocurrencies are not available for cTrader platforms and MT4 on Instant accounts.

In the FxPro announcement we read:

As a leading global broker, we understand the importance of trading and managing such assets during weekend hours where there is continuous and often sharp price dynamics. Therefore, in an effort to exceed and improve our current cryptocurrency trading conditions, we are delighted to announce that we are now introducing weekend trading in these CFDs.

The Cypriot broker offers a fairly large number of cryptocurrencies in relation to the dollar. These are: Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Bitcoin Gold, Ethereum, Dogecoin, Dashcoin, Litecoin, NEO, Stellar, Monero, Ripple, Zet Cash, EOS, Ethereum Classic, IOTA, Chainlink, Polkadot and Basic Attention Token (BAT). We present descriptions of all these tokens here.
