Social Trading with ZuluTrade - very successful 5 days of trading. Week # 8 [TEST]

We continue our test of one of the most popular social trading sites - ZuluTrade. IN previous cycle our balance was clearly diminished by the disastrous performance of all traders. This time we have reason to be pleased as we made quite a profit. However, it is not so colorful, because there are 40 open positions in the game and all of them are generating a loss at the moment. The only positive aspect of this is that they are all in the hands of our best supplier - Hidden Treasure. We can only hope that he knows what he is doing.

ZULUTRADE: INTRODUCTION

How our suppliers played at ZuluTrade

All three traders completed 178 transactions, including only one in the minus, which resulted in a profit of 477,87 USD. Hidden Tresure, an investor, deserves recognition as he closed 169 positions - all positive. In total, they generated a profit of $ 306,03. As I mentioned in the introduction, the flip side of the coin is that provider Hidden Tresure has 40 open positions and their total loss has already reached -434,83 USD.

The currency pairs on which transactions were concluded last week are:

• EUR / USD
• GBP / USD
• EUR / NZD
• NZD / JPY
• GBP / AUD
• GBP / CHF
• GBP / CAD
• GBP / NZD

Only 11% of transactions were carried out on the most popular currency pair EUR / USD so far. Last week, currency pairs with the British pound attracted the most attention.

Summary of the eighth week in numbers:

• The total loss is 477,87 USD,
• 40 positions remain open for a total loss -434,83 USD,
• 178 transactions were completed, including 1 minus.

Current account balance since the start of the test:

• Total profit 723,57 USDwhat gives + 14 % rate of return
• The sum of all losses  -1850,59 USD,
• 1852 closed positions - 1567 profitable and 285 lossy,
• 40 active items with a balance sheet -434,83 USD.

Summation

Within 8 weeks, a huge number of transactions were completed, which are approaching two thousand. We currently have 15% of losses. However, this does not translate into profit, as most often a good cycle was followed by a trip. Almost always the loss was generated by previously open and held positions. The conclusion is that except for one case at the beginning of the test, none of the suppliers used any rescue strategy but waited for the situation to reverse, which in turn was a road to nowhere. This creates an atmosphere of very limited confidence.
