According to the Big Macka Index, the current exchange rate of the Polish currency is undervalued by 30%. This undervaluation would have been greater if the price of a sandwich in Poland had not increased by a record 18 percent in the last six months.

The recent behavior of the Swiss franc may have suggested SNB's return to a "ceiling" policy. The strong appreciation of the CHF against the major currencies, among others, is clearly not in the hands of the Central Bank of Switzerland.
