Dukascopy LP PAMM Account Test - Week # 2

Two weeks have passed since we started testing the service Wealth Management Dukascopy LP PAMM. I must admit that the name of the product is as long as our transaction history so far - so very :-). You can find out what the mentioned PAMM account is from our previous article HERE. Without losing time, let's get to the point.

Dukascopy LP PAMM - First impressions

PAMM account does not give you access to the platform. You can only monitor transactions made from the client's panel. In addition to the functionalities responsible for account and funds management, you can find there only the history of transactions and a list of currently open positions.

It actually does not matter much anyway, because analyzing the bets made by the machine on our account, translated into a chart would not make much sense. Ultimately the goal Dukascopy is to increase your internal fluidity. A secondary goal, which is also a necessity to attract and maintain external capital, is to generate a satisfactory rate of return in the long term.

3 September 2018 started trading on the account. Interestingly, already on that Monday morning in the account history there were at least a dozen closed transactions. Currently, the history of completed transactions is over 300, and 67 is still open.

The transaction volume is matched to the account balance, and the risk taken can be considered very small. The trades made vary widely and the volume is sometimes abstractly low. In the case of my account, probably all types of markets offered by Dukascopy have been counted - currencies (including highly exotic ones), stocks, commodities, indices. Full cross-section!

Wnioski

To sum up, if you are counting on spectacular profits in a short time, unfortunately NO - this service is not for you. The long-term and conservative strategy in its assumption is to guarantee stability and slow growth of the invested capital. Certainly, more constructive conclusions will be drawn after a few weeks, months, or even a year of the investment, which we are very curious about!

There is also good information regarding security - the daily account balance never fluctuated more (or at least I did not notice it) than by PLN 50 (0,25%). The scale of the risk is really small.
