Kacper Gawroński on XTB Trading Masterclass

Interview with Kacper Gawroński, coordinator of the XTB Trading Masterclass conference.

1. The second edition of the XTB Trading Masterclass conference series is in progress. Does this mean that the first edition was a success?

Yes, in our opinion the first edition was a great success. The tone of the conference, the attendance and the comments we received from the participants assured us that such events are needed and we should organize them further.

1. The largest Masterclass this year will be held in Warsaw soon, because 19 May at the Airport Okęcie hotel. What will the event look like and why is it worth to appear there?

First of all, the conference is much larger - 500 people, 2 lecture rooms and most importantly 10 truly amazing traders and market practitioners who will present their investment strategies, approach to capital management and ways to deal with emotions. Additionally, we will be witnesses the final of the XTB Live Trading competition, in which 70 traders take part with the real capital 10 000 PLN.

1. What about other cities, what plan for this year?

In the second half of the year, we will most likely visit Gdańsk and Krakow again. In addition, we are planning another big interesting event in a slightly different form, but I would not like to reveal the details yet.

1. In Warsaw, 10 speakers will perform. Who will you listen to?

I think that most of the characters like Rafał Glinicki, Maciej Goliński, Zbigniew Wieczorek, Dawid Augustyn, Piotr Głowacki, Tomasz Rozmus, Daniel Kostecki and Marcin Tuszkiewicz are well known to Polish investors and do not need to be presented to anyone.

In addition, the conference will feature two lesser-known, yet highly experienced and knowledgeable people: Michał Kurach and Norbert Ludian.

Michał Kurach is one of the first people in Poland who started to teach people in a professional way on how to invest. Michał's strategy is certainly very extensive and interesting. I started my adventure with investments, based on it.

I am particularly interested in the presentation of Rafał Glinicki, who will present ways to determine the trend using volume techniques based on the real volume index recently added to the xStation platform 5.

1. Are meetings within XTB Trading Masterclass open to all interested parties?

Yes, every person who registers on the site pl.xtb.com/tradingmasterclasswarszawa can participate in the conference. However, I was sensitive to earlier registration, because due to too much interest at the very end of last year's edition we had to refuse to participate almost 100 people. This is not a marketing gimmick, but a real appeal to all those who actually want to take part in the event

1. You've been a trader for a few nice years. How can such conferences help investors, especially beginners?

This is true a trader, and even before that blogger ;). First of all, I hope that the participants will see how to approach the investment professionally. Each of the speakers will present a different approach to the market, both short-term strategies (eg Marcin Tuszkiewicz) and long-term strategies (eg Piotr Głowacki). I think that for beginners I would especially recommend Maciej Goliński's lecture on investment psychology.
