Dukascopy Bank lowers the minimum deposit to 1000 $

Swiss ECN broker, Dukascopy Bank, issued a message about reducing the minimum deposit required to activate the account from the current level 5000 $ to 1000 $. This is great news for traders with less capital who are also looking for a reliable broker outside the European Union regulations.

It should be noted that Dukascopy Bank operates on the basis of a Swiss banking license and thus EU directives do not apply to its operations. The Dukascopy Europe group is also a Swiss broker, a daughter company serving clients from the European Union.

Dukascopy offers to keep accounts in 23 currencies, also in gold. The 1000 $ requirement applies to accounts in U.S. dollars. In the case of accounts nominated in other currencies, payment of the equivalent amount is required.
