The bull market is also with Polish brokers

In Poland, of course, there is nothing to count on such a spectacular result, but our brokers are also recording significant increases. We wrote in April about gigantic profit growth one of the leading companies on the Polish market: X-Trade Brokers, but other brokers, who also open new brokerage accounts, have good results.

In March alone, when stock indexes were bleeding, 28,8 thousand were founded in Poland new brokerage accountsh. And this at a time when the peaks of indices have lost 40%. Earlier, the trend was quite the opposite. Individual investors appeared extremely often when company valuations were very high and the media wrote about a continuous bull market.

Polish individual investors buy shares

We have already 1,29 million brokerage accounts due to recent registrations in Poland. 11,2 thousand of them were opened in March at mBank, which already has over 300 active brokerage accounts. There is no other Polish broker. In total, every third new account was opened in mBank in March.

ING Bank Śląski did well, with 9,7 thousand registered. new users. As a result, he increased the number of bills by 10%, which is the best result in Poland.

“On the one hand, there is a pandemic and all its sad consequences, which, by the way, were reflected in the stock market. On the other hand, individual investors became active precisely at the time of the greatest volatility. I think it was related to looking for opportunities for a future reflection. When it comes to new clients, aware people came to us. In over 70 percent. transfers were sent to newly opened accounts within a few days and the vast majority of this money was quickly invested " - emphasizes Marcin Słomianowski, director of the ING Bank Śląski brokerage house.
