IC Markets introduces MetaTrader 5

Australian Forex Broker, IC Markets, informed yesterday about the introduction of the MetaTrader 5 platform to its offer. This is another well-known retail broker that has decided to extend the range of platforms with a "new" MetaQuotes product. Currently, MT5 offers over 170 Forex brokers (incl. FxPro, TMS Brokers, InstaForex) and you can see that this trend will continue.

IC Markets and MetaTrader 5 - goodbye MT4?

Not yet. IC Markets informs that clients will have access to both MT4 and MT5. The resignation from the four is only a matter of time, but at the moment no one is talking about it due to the fact that MT4 is an exceptionally popular software by traders.

The new one is better

MetaTrader 5 it has many interesting features that outperform its older brother. These include:

• Even 10x works faster,
• Built-in macro-economic calendar + alarms,
• Access to the market depth (DOM),
• 8 new technical analysis tools,
• More time intervals (TF).

Nevertheless, for years MT5 has not been able to win the hearts of traders enough to make them forget about the "emte four". Is it possible that the only way to change the users' habits is to suddenly quit the old version?
