"How to become a professional trader?" Course with Maciej Goliński [REVIEW]

created Michał SielskiJune 24 2020

There are plenty of trainings available on the web that promise gold mountains on Forex market. However, few of them are run by people who still earn real money. Course with Maciej Goliński is a raisin, but designed for people who have been investing for some time. Beginners may get some golden thoughts out of it, but they may not understand the facts.

Course with Maciej Goliński - is it worth it?

At the beginning, it is worth finding out who Maciej is. Because there are many trainers on the Polish market, but those who can boast of real experience and success - much less. Maciej Goliński has been a trader since the 90s. He has 25 years of experience, so he has experienced virtually all the crashes and booms in the last two decades in the markets. He has been a professional trader for 15 years and emphasizes that he has made all the mistakes that can be imagined in this profession. However, he studied with himself Joe Ross and is currently one of its two certified traders throughout Europe. Enough?

So now a little bit about the course itself. What will we learn from it? The author of the training focuses on the Inside bar formation - he even wrote a book with the same title. However, technical analysis is not crucial to him. During the course, countless times we hear about the importance of having a plan and obsessively focus on its consistent implementation.

Match the trading style to your skills - day trading is waiting

Several hours of training it is intended for those already playing on the markets, and not for those who are just wondering whether to convert a demo account into real investments. Maciej Goliński tells them about his transactions and explains not only why he concluded them, but also mentions the whole background: was there a data publication then, were they significant, did the market react to them and how? Interestingly - we have examples of both successful trades and failures ending in a loss.

He emphasizes that he trades in the afternoons himself, never all week and usually about 3 hours a day.

- 90% of my work time is waiting. Day trading is waiting for a developed setup. I keep telling myself: "it's not that, it's not ..." And I'm waiting. Sometimes I enter after two hours of watching the market - says Maciej Goliński.

The devil is in the details and strength of big players

The undoubted advantage of the course is the clear division into 30 lessons. The disadvantage of similar ones is one film lasting for example 8 hours, which in itself can be daunting. Here we have specific titles and in the absence of time, we can focus on the aspects that are our weakest point - e.g. emotions, capital management, specific playing techniques.

The author focuses on details and, above all, details. Comparing candles - or rather bars, because he prefers to observe them - is not only checking their direction and size, but also specifying in detail all the features that will allow you to draw conclusions for the future based on the assessment of the market power and the movement of the instrument.

Undoubtedly, the interesting part concerns big players. Every trader - especially at the beginning - has found more than once that after the dynamic move he joined, the market retreated, "consumed" his stop lossa and continued the rally. Trader with experience explains why this is happening and reveals the backstage of market manipulation used by large players.

However, one can get the impression that this knowledge can be transferred faster and in a more attractive way for the recipient. Maciej Goliński is certainly not a born rally speaker, so his pace of speech and timbre of his voice will certainly not carry the crowds. But that's not what it's about - especially in lessons where he introduces his trading methods step by step. Here you will need to focus and understand the specifics of the course author's trading, because any mistake can cost you dearly. Therefore, even a soothing tone in some cases may turn out to be the most appropriate ...
