JForex 4 - the new generation of the Dukascopy platform

Swiss broker Dukascopy created a completely new trading platform - JForex 4 - which is to replace the previous edition with the designation 3, which has been accompanying us for about 7 years. According to the creators, the new version inherited all the advantages of its predecessor, but at the same time gained a huge number of functions and additions that traders have applied for over the past years.

The new Dukascopy platform is now available, but ...

Dukascopy JForex platform is one of those that you either love or… don't "like" very much :-). One thing is certain, however - in many respects it revolutionized the platform market, offering a lot of useful solutions that the competition did not come up with. Although JForex 3 is constantly updated by Dukascopy, it turns out that in parallel, from 2019, work on version 4 was also carried out.

The new version of the Swiss bank's transaction platform is currently available only for demo accounts. This is a testing ground that Dukascopy always uses to catch as many flaws as possible, before the new product is implemented on Live accounts. The final launch date for the new version for real accounts is not known yet, but the broker ensures that it will happen in 2022.

JForex 4 - innovations and news

But let's move on to the most important thing. What will JForex 4 have that JForex 3 does not have? It can be said that the new version is practically an evolution of three. After the first launch, users will not be shocked and will certainly quickly find themselves on the new platform.

New features available on JForex 4 include:

• Possibility to transfer funds between accounts,
• Integration with JCloud,
• Graph playback mode,
• Order management during trade breaks,
• Inverting / doubling positions,
• New types of orders,
• Macroeconomic events visible in the charts,
• Built-in instrument specification.

In addition to the above changes, the platform has a refreshed design and a lot of small modules that help in trading, such as a widget for quick order placement, a calculator or the ability to change the color from dark to light with one click. For people who use non-standard tools such as indicators or automatic strategies, Dukascopy took care of the compatibility of solutions with JForex 3 on JForex 4, so there should be no need for any code interference.

The JForex 4 platform is available in the desktop version for Windows, Linux and Mac.
