KNF puts 3 Forex scammer websites on the list of warnings

On 28 July 2023. Polish Financial Supervision Authority informed about adding to the list of warnings three domains that were supposed to illegally provide intermediation services on investment markets. These are Topeu.com, Primeu.net and Primeu.com. IN in connection with the conducted activity, a notification was submitted to the prosecutor's office about the commission of a crime. Details below.

Watch out for Topeu.com, primeu.net and primeu.com

Fraudsters are constantly trying their hand and trying to persuade unsuspecting investors to make deposits. The goal is always the same - to get as much money as possible from your victims. They often use several websites at once for this purpose. When one is "burnt", they use another. And so on and on. Often the name modifications are really minimal. After all, why bother, right?

This time, the Polish Financial Supervision Authority announced that three parties were included in the "black list". These are:

• www.topeu.com/pl,
• primeu.net,
• primeu.com.

At the time of publication of the announcement, all three domains were already blocked. This, however, does not mean that the same names will not come back with the added ending "invest" or "trade" or the end of the address will not be changed, e.g. to .pl or .eu. Therefore, be vigilant!

We warn against using the services of unlicensed companies. Before opening an account, always make sure it is correct the broker has the appropriate regulations and permits at the indicated financial market supervisory institution.
