Crypto retirement: the best month is behind us
Today it's time for the fifth summary our retirement portfolio, based on investments in the most risky assets on the market: cryptocurrencies. July is behind us, which was simply excellent for our investments. As an introduction, let's use the fact that the "worst" cryptocurrency in July went up by 28,5%.
Crypto-retirement rules of the Forex Club Portal:
- we invest on Binance Stock Market, which is not only the largest in the world, but also - so far - the most stable,
- every month we devote 60 euros (this is the minimum deposit threshold in Binance),
- we want to invest approx. half of the funds in Bitcoin, as the "king of cryptocurrencies" and the indisputable flywheel of the entire market,
- in addition to BTC, we selected 3 other cryptocurrencies: LINK, ADA and BNB, in which we will invest at least until the end of the year,
- if it is possible, we pay cryptocurrencies on "deposits" in Binance,
- at the end of the year we will decide if there are other cryptocurrencies in the portfolio,
- the investment horizon is at least 10 years.
Easy saving of interest
Until now, our cryptocurrency wallet has acted like a classic retirement wallet. He saved interest and increased its value despite considerable volatility on the market. At the end of June, our portfolio was as follows:
So we had over EUR 314, and all the cryptocurrencies we have, that is: Bitcoin (BTC), Chainlink (LINK), Cardano (ADA) and Binance Coin (BNB), we deposited immediately. Their interest rate does not exceed 1% per annum, but it is still more than currently in Polish banks. So we earned interest and we would be satisfied even if the prices of our assets did not change significantly. However, it happened completely different ...
The results of our cryptocurrencies in July 2020:
- Chainlink (LINK) + 65,52%
- Cardano (ADA) + 54,14%
- Binance Coin (BNB) + 37,55%
- Bitcoin (BTC) + 28,5%
As you can see, the increases were gigantic. One would like to say that it is finally worthy of the cryptocurrency market. Our sluggish Bitcoin prince woke up at last, and most of the altcoins took off with him. Link and Ada were by far the best, continuing their gains from previous months, but we also have no right to complain about BNB. Even if these were to be annual rather than monthly increases, we would be in cloud nine.
The valuation of our portfolio increased by leaps and bounds - from EUR 314 at the beginning of June to over EUR 416 on 1.08.2020/XNUMX/XNUMX.
Crypto-retirement: Summary
Let's remind: we have paid 6 euros 60 times, i.e. we have invested 360 euros in total. As at 01.08.2020, the account balance is EUR 483,57.
Undoubtedly, the best month in the so far short history of our experiment is behind us. The cryptocurrency retirement wallet swells up beautifully and we can only keep our fingers crossed to keep it that way. It is hard to dream that it will increase the pace, and maintaining the current one is rather impossible in the long run, although cryptocurrency valuations have proven more than once that the word "impossible" should not be used in the context of cryptocurrencies. Especially since - let us recall - our investment horizon is 10 years.
This month, we decided to set aside another 60 euro for the purchase only Bitcoin. The other cryptocurrencies rose so much in July that we are afraid of a correction. Of course, it can also take place on BTC, but after breaking the price of 11 thousand. USD is a bit more likely to defend this level.
Of course, as usual, we put all cryptocurrencies on interest-bearing deposits using the automatic subscription function. As a result, all accrued interest will be automatically paid on the deposits. And we are waiting for what September will bring.
