Crypto-retirement: August again in the black

Today it's time for the sixth summary of our retirement portfolio, based on investments in the most risky assets on the market: cryptocurrencies. August is behind us, when most of our cryptocurrencies grew, but one was solidly discounted. What was the result? We invite you to discuss our retirement crypto portfolio.

Crypto-retirement rules of the Forex Club Portal:

we invest on Binance Stock Market, which is not only the largest in the world, but also - so far - the most stable,
every month we devote 60 euros (this is the minimum deposit threshold in Binance),
we want to invest approx. half of the funds in Bitcoin, as the "king of cryptocurrencies" and the indisputable flywheel of the entire market,
in addition to BTC, we selected 3 other cryptocurrencies: LINK, ADA and BNB, in which we will invest at least until the end of the year,
if it is possible, we pay cryptocurrencies on "deposits" in Binance,
at the end of the year we will decide if there are other cryptocurrencies in the portfolio,
the investment horizon is at least 10 years.

Let's remind that a month ago we set a record. Our retirement portfolio has grown significantly as all cryptocurrencies have posted solid gains. Thanks to this, at the beginning of August, our portfolio was as follows:

So we had EUR 483,57, and all the cryptocurrencies we have, that is: Bitcoin (BTC), Chainlink (LINK), Cardano (ADA) and Binance Coin (BNB), we made our deposits right away. Their interest rate does not exceed 1% per annum, but it is still more than currently in Polish banks. Some of our financial institutions offer such a "high" interest rate that in order to check it you have to count the zero decimal point ... This is one of the reasons why we prefer to invest in even such risky instruments as cryptocurrencies. And in August it paid off again.

The results of our cryptocurrencies in August 2020:

ChainLink (LINK) + 89,68%
Binance Coin (BNB) + 14,33%
Bitcoin (BTC) + 7,67%
Cardano (ADA) -9,64%

As you can see, only the ADA has been overestimated, but we will not complain about it, because this altcoin increased by over 50% in July, so if this is to be a correction, all that remains is to enjoy its range. LINK recorded a phenomenal result, and the recently chimerical BTC and BNB also rewarded the patience of investors.

The valuation of our portfolio increased once again - from EUR 483,57 in early August to EUR 532,99 on September 1, 2020. Therefore, it is easy to calculate that the value of the retirement portfolio has increased by almost 50 euros.

So we pay another 60 euro and spend the entire amount on the purchase of Bitcoin. We believe that the recent moves on the king of cryptocurrencies could herald what many analysts have been writing about for some time: an accumulation phase that could start another big gains. We won't be offended if they are right 🙂

Crypto Retirement: A Summary

Recall: we made a deposit of 7 times 60 euro, so we invested a total of 420 euro. As of 01.09.2020/590,34/170, the account balance is EUR 10. So our portfolio has already increased by over EUR XNUMX for six months. However, we approach it with great calm, because - let us remind you - our investment horizon is XNUMX years.

Of course, as usual, we put all cryptocurrencies on interest-bearing deposits using the automatic subscription function. As a result, all accrued interest will be automatically paid on the deposits. And we are waiting for what September will bring.
