Crypto Retirement: January increase in portfolio value. Profit + 147%.
Good sentiment in the cryptocurrency market continues to make our cryptocurrency-based retirement portfolio grow again. The first year of our experiment can be considered not only successful, but even delightful.
Crypto-retirement rules of the Forex Club Portal:
- we invest on Binance Stock Market, which is not only the largest in the world, but also - so far - the most stable,
- every month we devote 60 euros (this is the minimum deposit threshold in Binance),
- we want to invest approx. half of the funds in Bitcoin, as the "king of cryptocurrencies" and the indisputable flywheel of the entire market,
- in addition to BTC, we selected 3 other cryptocurrencies: LINK, ADA and BNB, in which we will invest at least until the end of the year,
- if it is possible, we pay cryptocurrencies on "deposits" in Binance,
- at the end of the year we will decide if there are other cryptocurrencies in the portfolio,
- the investment horizon is at least 10 years.
Another month of increases in the cryptocurrency market
January 2021 was undoubtedly very good for the cryptocurrency market. Admittedly, after further price records, Bitcoin has experienced quite a sharp correction, but it is still positive. Altcoins were even better. We have last month's hits in our portfolio: Ada and Link grew by over 95% and over 89%, respectively. BNB grows steadily and keeps increasing its Bitcoin price, so it should come as no surprise that another successful month is behind us.
The results of our cryptocurrencies in January 2021:
- Cardano (ADA) + 95,02%
- ChainLink (LINK) + 89,74%
- Binance Coin (BNB) + 17,03%
- Bitcoin (BTC) + 12,75%
After 12 months of saving, or rather investing in cryptocurrencies, it's also time for an annual summary. And we have to admit that the first year of our 10-year experiment is so good that virtually any experienced investor can assume that it is already such a tall horse that it is easy to fall off it, and a fall can be very painful.
Crypto Retirement: A Summary
Recall: we made a deposit of EUR 12 60 times, so we invested EUR 720 in total. On January 31.01.2021, 1.772,98, the account balance is EUR XNUMX. So our portfolio expanded in a year or 1052,98 euro.

We still try to approach it with great calm, because - let us remind you - our investment horizon is 10 years. So we invest another 60 euros and, as usual, we put all cryptocurrencies on interest-bearing deposits using the automatic subscription function. As a result, all accrued interest will be automatically paid on the deposits. And we are waiting for what February brings.
We also decided that we will not exchange new cryptocurrencies that we receive for stacking previously selected ones. The Binance cryptocurrency exchange rewards its users with tokens, which are given away and added to the wallet - in addition to interest for staking. We traded them for BNB on a regular basis, but made a decision that it didn't make much sense. These are small amounts, and some of these cryptocurrencies are just taking their first steps. Who knows, maybe there will be some investment stars among them? So we will keep them and present the balance every month. It will also help to estimate how much you can earn on such airdrops.
