League of Kingdoms (LOKA) - a cryptocurrency for strategic games

created Michał Sielski14 February 2022

There is no need to convince anyone that gaming is a dynamically developing market. In combination with metaverse i NFT it may be a good investment option not only for the coming months. Is cryptocurrency League of Kingdoms (LOKA) however, has an advantage over competitors? We check.

We are continuing the cycle of the Forex Club portal in which we analyze and describe the largest, highest-valued, most interesting, most developing, advanced and also the most controversial cryptocurrency projects around the world. Today it's time for LOKA - a cryptocurrency from the recently heated gaming market.

How the League of Kingdoms (LOKA) token works

LOKA is to be an element of a decentralized meta-world of games. But not all of them, because the project focuses - as one of the first in the world - on strategy games based on blockchain technology. The token allows you to manage and use additional tools in the League of Kingdoms community. The holders of the largest number of tokens have the greatest influence on network management and introducing any changes.

This cryptocurrency also pays for items and all in-game trade. They also win prizes for individual competitions, and then spend them on upgrading your NFT resources. There is also an option to participate in the lottery, where you can win the LOKA and NFT cryptocurrencies.

Development of the League of Kingdoms (LOKA)

Even before the project was launched, its creators raised USD 3,1 million from the private sale of tokens. 6,20% of the total supply of LOKA tokens was sold for USD 0,1 each, which allowed for a smooth development.

Thanks to this, League of Kingdoms was created, i.e. one of the first strategy MMO games in the world based on blockchain technology. Players can build their own kingdoms in it, which is hindered by various monsters. Kingdoms can also fight with each other or form alliances. They collect plots that are non-exchangeable tokens (NFT). The game can be played on a mobile basis on Android or iOS, as well as on desktop computers.

The game, which debuted in July 2020, already has an average of 0,5 million people a month from 220 countries and the numbers are constantly growing. All thanks to the fact that - in addition to the impressive graphics and addictive story, which is the basis of these times - you can use a variety of modes: play alone, with friends, as well as with the whole world, competing in huge, intercontinental battles.

The gameplay does not avoid political, military, economic or social elements, and the whole game is based on the resources of the NFT. So you can play stress-free, taking care of calmly building your kingdom or world, for which, for example, Minecraft is famous, or immerse yourself in intricate political games and try to win as much as possible for yourself.

League of Kingdoms is so popular precisely because virtually all land or goods acquired in it can be easily converted into the LOKA cryptocurrency. It is therefore a classic example of high-level entertainment, which is also a play & earn game. League of Kingdom assets can be tokenized and traded within the blockchain and is one of the most traded NFT assets on the Polygon network.

Constant cooperation with the hegemons of the industry is also important. Like a game The sandbox or MakerDAO's decentralized platform for issuing stablecoins, which helps to cash in-game prizes.
