Where is the line between a bad deal and a good deal? Where is the line between an effective perception of the market and a very subjective assessment based on expectations? "

The topics of cognitive biases, bad habits and the role of happiness in trading will also be discussed.

Interview with Michał Kurach

1. Michał, you are the first person in Poland to start a real training project called "Timing Trader". Can you tell how it started?

It's actually a coincidence. I was invited to an educational project as an expert on Elliot waves. There I met many people who wanted to learn individually my whole view of the market and the way of investing. One of my closest students encouraged me to do training in the Timing Trader system in an open form. I am grateful to this day because it was a fantastic adventure and a life lesson.

1. Where did you get the idea for an investment strategy?

By nature I am a process rationalizer. I have improved the available elements of knowledge, created my own elements, and finally created a unified and coherent system. At the same time, it should be noted that Timing Trader is like the Brazilian Ju Jitsu  - it is constantly developing and adjusting to new market conditions, because I make new observations and changes. I am the Timing Trader. 😉

1. What is the most important thing to achieve success as a trader?

Determination, rationality and focus on the goal.

1. Are you investing more, conducting trainings or did you do something else?

I do not run trainings from 5-6 for years and although I miss it, trading is my only job. Hobbistically, I breed purebred Arabian horses, and most importantly I am the father of two wonderful sons.

1. What advice would you give a novice investor?

Find good knowledge. Learn. Plan. And do it !!!

1. Which books should you read for every investor?

There is no such.

1. What is your favorite instrument and why?

I can have a horse, a movie or a music band :-). If you are a professional then you will play where the best opportunity is.
