Hemp, Games, Batteries - New indexes available in XTB

The offer of the largest Polish Forex broker is constantly expanding. Only this year XTB added new instruments to the offer over 160. In total, almost 4000 is available to them. This time, the list of commercially available symbols has been extended by CFDs on 6 sectoral indices.

6 new indexes

The introduced instruments are designed to enable customers to further diversify trade and take advantage of market opportunities. The new indexes allow trading with exposure to the sector legal cannabis, listed companies with direct involvement in the mining and commercialization of metals used for battery production, biotechnology giants, the gaming industry, social media and the Chinese online market.

We have decided to introduce new instruments due to the growing popularity of certain groups of companies dealing in a given market sector. For example, the USMEDIA index gives clients the opportunity to obtain exposure to companies dealing with the broadly understood social media industry (eg Facebook, Twitter, Yelp, etc.). The new offer is a response to the requirements of our clients and the growing popularity and recognition of companies from the technology, gaming and marijuana industries. These are currently characterized by very fast development and growing potential. The customer has the option of taking both long and short positions on the index, which is not possible during the investment directly in the index shares of the given index.

Description of the instruments introduced

• USCANNA - BITA Global Cannabis Giants Index registers the total gross margin from 20 of the largest listed companies with a direct exposure to cannabis revenues.
• USLITH - BITA American Lithium and Battery Metals Giants index records the total gross rate of return from 15 of the largest US listed companies with direct involvement in the extraction and commercialization of metals used for battery production.
• USCHN - BITA China Internet Giants Index records the total gross rate of return from 30 of the largest Chinese listed companies with direct exposure to the Chinese online market.
• USBIOT - BITA US Biotech Giants Index records the total gross rate of return from 30 of the largest US listed companies listed as operating in the biotechnology sector.
• USGAME - BITA Gaming and E-sport Giants EW index registers the total gross margin from 20 companies listed on the American stock exchanges, with the largest exposure to revenue from the gaming and e-sports industry. The index components are equally weighted and balanced on a quarterly basis.
• USMEDIA - Global index of social media giants BITA registers the total gross margin from 15 of the largest companies listed on the leading US stock exchanges, with direct involvement in revenues in the social media industry. The index is weighted with market capitalization and is balanced quarterly.

Trade on all newly introduced indexes is carried out with a leverage of 1: 10 (10% collateral) in 15 hours: 30 -22: 00 Polish time. New instruments are available at xStation platform.
