OANDA has received approval from the Polish Financial Supervision Authority to take over TMS Brokers

Oanda Global Corporation, international Forex / CFD broker with a history of activity since 1996, it has obtained approval from Polish Financial Supervision Authority for the acquisition of the Polish broker TMS Brokers. The KNF did not raise any objections to the transaction.

TMS Brokers is just the beginning?

Oanda, although it has not been as popular in Poland for several years as it was a decade ago, still focuses on dynamic development. It was the first company to make foreign exchange rate data available online for free and launched an FX trading platform. Five years later, she contributed to the development of the online currency trading market. 

Gavin Bambury, President of OANDA, commented:

“We are glad that we have obtained the green light from the regulator for the acquisition of TMS Brokers. We look forward to finalizing the already approved transaction and to starting activities aimed at integrating our technology infrastructure, key tools and trading platforms to provide the best possible service to both OANDA and TMS clients. ”

OANDA concluded an agreement to acquire 100% of shares in TMS Brokers in September 2020. The transaction is the first in a series of strategic acquisitions that OANDA plans to complete over the next few years. Who will be next?
