Germany warns against investing in "marijuana"

BaFIN, the German competent PFSA, placed an entity called Cannabis Wealth on the list of warnings. The company advertises itself as an intermediary in CFD trading from the rapidly gaining popularity industry - cannabis. The offer is aimed at German residents, and the website contains address details that… do not actually exist. Additionally, the website itself was registered without providing any personal data.

All this means that the activities of the Cannabis Wealth entity are highly suspect. Of course, it needless to say that the company itself does not have any licenses or permits that would authorize it to provide such services.

The official BaFIN message

We warn against using the services of unlicensed companies. Before opening an account, always make sure that the broker has the appropriate regulations and permits from the indicated institution supervising the financial market.
