The halfway point of the XTB Live Trading contest

The first week of competition for the main prize of PLN 40 in XTB Live Trading is behind us. Although the competition takes place on real resources, we are dealing with a large rotation in the TOP 000. However, this is what the competitions are characterized by. The limited amount of time and experienced competitors mean that you have to take more risks and modify your strategy according to the "conditions" set by your rivals.

The last year's leader drops out

martini_007, or the winner last year's edition of the competition he ended his participation after three days. The unsuccessful gold deal quickly made it exceed the allowed 40% of the draw and is now in third last place with -77,45%. Techno_TJS comes last with a rate of return of over -99%, which has clearly decided to fight to the end by betting on drops on WTI crude oil.

Leader with nickname r1man from the first day of the competition, which was enough 12 hours to exceed the 100% ceiling for reasons unknown to us was eliminated from the competition, despite the fact that currently has 25% profit. Daniel Kostecki under a pseudonym magictrader he was also excluded from the list qualifying for the Grand Finale because he is a former employee of X-Trade Brokers (statutory exclusion), which he was fully aware of.

33 participants have already dropped out of the competition at 70 starting. 45 of them has a balance lower than 10 000 PLN, and four did not make any transactions. Perhaps they are planning to attack the bank at the end.

Grzegorz Krychowiak on the plus side

The Polish national footballer with the 4 number also participates in the competition (nickname GK4). So far, 16 has concluded transactions (all on currencies), of which 13 ended up being profitable. The return rate of 1,64% now gives 17 a place on the list.

The leading traders record results above 50%, where currently Robi26 is leading with a profit of 75%, trading on European stock indices and ... Soi with 100% efficiency. To qualify for the Friday finals, at the moment, it is enough to have a profit above PLN 2200. If the markets do not experience greater volatility, we will most likely not see 3-digit rates of return.

The Grand Final is this Friday

The Grand Final will take place on May 19 in Warsaw. This is when traders from the top ten will compete for a total prize pool of PLN 60. At the same time, the XTB Trading Masterclass will be held. Ten speakers and two lecture rooms, that is a whole day of free knowledge from market practitioners. There will be, among others Rafał Glinicki, Tomasz Rozmus, Marcin Tuszkiewicz and Zbigniew Wieczorek.

Admission to the conference is free, however, due to the limited number of places, prior registration is required.

In addition to lectures delivered by lecturers, it is also a great opportunity to get to know other traders. Particularly the best contest participants with whom we will have the opportunity to exchange experiences and strategies.
