Populous (PPT) - a cryptocurrency that provides financial liquidity

created Michał SielskiJuly 13 2020

The Populous platform (PPT) enables the sale of receivables as well as their auction. Importantly, invoices do not have to be past due, so it is a kind of factoring that provides financing up to 95%. The price depends on the credibility of the company that is to pay the invoice.

We continue the cycle of the Forex Club portal, in which we describe the most famous, interesting and controversial cryptocurrency projects in the world and those that can boast the largest market capitalization. Today it's time for Populous - a successful project blockchain technology with traditional business from many countries.

Factoring thanks to Populous

Populous (PPT) is a smart contract based on the web Ethereum (ETH). Is a project combining traditional business based on fiat currency with the world of cryptocurrency. Or rather solving the problems of classic companies thanks to blockchain technology. Thanks to it, all companies that struggle with the problem of irregularly flowing or delayed payments can find people or companies dealing with the purchase of invoices. The maximum invoice price can be 95% of their value.

However, factoring is not an innovative offer on the market, because there are many companies offering this service in Poland. But virtually none of them is based on smart contracts in the blockchain network. Thanks to the Populous network, intermediaries are bypassed, exchange rates for invoices in different currencies, and there are no geographical barriers. Today, Populous operates on both the Chinese and British markets. The buyer of invoices can be a company or person from anywhere in the world. The network also serves all industries. Invoices can be sold for a specific price or put up for auction.

Invoices are not purchased for fiat currency, but for stable coins XAU Poken, which reflect the value of the British pound (GBP). The project was created in London.

Fast ICO

Like the vast majority of cryptocurrency projects, Populous also raised funds for development through ICO. PPT tokens were created on the Ethereum smart contract and in just one day - on July 24.07.2017, 39 - we managed to collect the previously agreed amount of 600 XNUMX ETH, which was worth  USD 10,2 million. Ultimately, 53 252 246 units will be traded. There are 50 million PXP utility tokens.

How Populous works

To purchase or sell an invoice, you must first replace the PPT utility tokens with XAU Poken tokens that you pay for invoices. Then you can exchange them on the cryptocurrency exchange. Charges for access to financial information about a contractor are also covered by PXP. Each factorant is subjected to a risk assessment. A separate assessment is also assigned to each invoice. The potential buyer learns from it, among others, what is the probability of bankruptcy of a given company in the next two years, whether it had difficulties with timely payments before, etc. The better the rating, the higher the invoice price.

Populous Quotations (PPT)

Currently, Populous (PPT) tokens are listed on 22 cryptocurrency exchanges around the world. As of 12.07.2020, each of them has to pay USD 0,35. There are currently over 36,2 million units on the market. Ultimately there will be 53,2 million. Therefore, the current capitalization exceeds USD 12,7 million. On the other hand, we had the peak of listing on January 28.01.2018, 76,49, when as much as USD 2,5 USD was paid for Populous and market capitalization exceeded USD 20 billion. At that time, the project was in XNUMXth place among all cryptocurrencies.
