Stratis (STRAT) - Microsoft's partner cryptocurrency

created Michał Sielski15 May 2020

Do you need a better recommendation for cryptocurrency than official cooperation with a technology giant, which is undoubtedly the globally known Microsoft company? If not, then we invite you to the short history of Stratis cryptocurrency (STRAT), dealing with, among others the so-called. autonomous identity.

We continue the Forex Club portal cycle, in which we describe the largest, most known, most controversial and the most interesting cryptocurrency projects in the world. Today is time for the Stratis cryptocurrency platform (STRAT), which is throwing gloves at the cryptocurrency market leaders.

Stratis (STRAT) is a platform that allows you to create and test applications based on blockchain technology. The offer is directed primarily to enterprises. The network also issued its cryptocurrency of the same name. It can be used, inter alia, to cover transaction fees in the network.

Stratis wants to operate at the intersection of blockchain and companies that tend to use this technology in their activities. This is facilitated by applications that can be designed in the most-known programming languages. The goal is, among others, compatibility with solutions already used by Microsoft.

On the Stratis platform, you can create your own networks, i.e. sidechains. This allows you to maintain network speed. Side chains do not burden the network, no matter how complicated and complex they are.

Establishment of the Stratis network and cryptocurrency (STRAT)

The originator and author of Stratis is Stratis Group Ltd from London (2016). Two years later, the first Sidechains Alpha appeared, which are its strongest point. Although similar solutions are offered by e.g. Ethereum, but Startis allows you to program applications in the most popular languages, and not in the language that Solidity programmers don't know or like. For now, however, this has not allowed to break the popularity of Ethereum, despite the undeniable technological advantage. It turns out that even in such a sophisticated marketplace where technological novelties reign, it is difficult to overcome sentiment, fashion and habit. Time will tell if this is a permanent trend or whether it will ever change.

Despite this, however, Stratis reaches smaller and medium-sized enterprises that use this technology, and not without significance is the status of the official technology partner of Microsoft, which was granted on October 24, 2018.

How does Stratis work?

Stratis units cannot be dug up because the network confirms transactions and creates new transaction blocks by masternodes. These are people and companies that have at least 250 STRAT units that are stacking (i.e. frozen in wallets, not kept, e.g. on the cryptocurrency exchange). They must also have at least 5 bitcointo ensure compatibility with the network of the most known and liquid cryptocurrency. Masternodes receive 1-1,75% per year for packaging.

The Stratis Identity mobile application, which registers and verifies identity, also operates under Stratis. You can use it to confirm the so-called autonomous identity bypassing state registers, similar to Hyperledger or NEO.

For now, it is not known how many STRAT units will be ultimately on the market. As at 14.05.2020/99,7/1, they already have XNUMX million in circulation, and the annual inflation rate has been set at XNUMX%.

LOSS quotes

Currently, the STRAT cryptocurrency can be traded for 15 Cryptocurrency exchanges from around the world. Each unit costs USD 0,30, which gives it a total capitalization of over USD 30,7 million and a daily turnover of over USD 1,2 million. The peak of trading took place on January 8.01.2018, 22,66, when the STRAT price reached USD 2019. We have been observing a clear stabilization of the exchange rate since XNUMX.
