Over 200% profit and high efficiency

December is a specific month. It is usually characterized by less volatility and liquidity, and in addition, many trading sessions are simply broken up on public holidays. However, this did not prevent Chao from squeezing out of this period as much as possible. He closed three out of four transactions with a profit, and in total he closed nearly 200 transactions. How did he do it?

It's no secret that the Chinese like gold. We have no exception here :). The vast majority of transactions were concluded on this precious metal, but also in the accompaniment of silver. The differentiation was considerable - you can also see transactions on EUR / USD, AUD / USD, GBP / USD, as well as less popular pairs such as AUD / JPY or USD / SEK.

There is great variation in terms of the time horizon. Initially, it may seem that short transactions ranging from several minutes to several hours were preferred. However, the second half of the statement shows that some of the open positions at the beginning of the month were held and executed at the end of December. The effect of a large breach on the line Equity is the execution of these transactions, both the series of losses held and the items they earned.

The best setup was 6 Eurodollar flights opened on December 2 and closed on December 31, which brought a profit of $ 12. USD - however, this profit must be reduced by almost -1800 USD due to the swap. The worst deal was made on gold on December 12 with a volume of 3 lots. It was closed exactly two weeks later and brought a loss of -13. USD. And unfortunately, there were two such transactions (identical parameters, a difference of several minutes at the opening), so in total this setup brought Chao a decrease in the deposit of almost 27 thousand. USD.

It is difficult to determine what specific strategy was chosen by the trader of the month of December, because there are many contradictions in it that do not match the popular "standards". It is known, however, that the approach turned out to be effective on a monthly basis and we keep our fingers crossed so that this ending of the old year will be a good harbinger for the next one!
