The XNUMXth edition of the TMS competition has ended. How did the best play? [Summary]

Dynamics, fierce competition and, above all, a good lesson in investing - this was the eighth edition TMS Brokers mobile educational competition. The next installment of the game has come to an end.

Participants competed against each other on demo accounts on the platform TMS Brokers. In total, the competition lasted 3 weeks and was divided into three one-week rounds. They had a virtual EUR 10 at their disposal, and the goal was to generate the highest possible rate of return. Every week, the best participant had a chance to win a real money prize - one thousand zlotys. The competition was educational.

That's how the podium sounded

The winner of the 8th edition of the educational competition was a user with a nickname Myklm23, scoring 91 points. It will go to him PLN 10 prize. The winner of the first prize completed 68 transactions in total. He did the best in the second week of the competition, achieving a rate of return of 208,5 percent.

The user was in second place Tactician with 86 points. The participant made as many as 243 transactions, generating the most profits in the last week of the game (209,4% rate of return).

The third place was taken by the participant with the nickname Tiger36, gaining 75 points after concluding 115 trades. He can also consider the last stage of the game as his best week, which brought him a return rate of 150,36%.

The cash prizes for second and third place are respectively 2000 i 1000 zlotys.

The top three invested mainly in NATGAS. The winner made as many as 65 out of 68 transactions on this instrument. The third place winner was equally eager to invest in gold. Interestingly, users from first and second place achieved a negative rate of return in the first week. It is hard to find a better example of the volatile and unpredictable game on the stock market.

The course of the game

The task of the users was to multiply their virtual capital as skilfully as possible by 10 euros. Every week, the best participant had a chance to win a real money prize - one thousand zlotys. The contestants were most likely to play on Mondays, usually in the afternoon - between 000 and 15 pm.
