XTB introduces another new product. Currency exchange now available!

Po investment plans, functions automatic investing, interest on funds, introduction ETN to Bitcoin and connection cooperation with BlackRock, it's time for another novelty from the largest Polish broker. From today, XTB customers can now exchange currencies directly on the trading platform.

XTB showers customers with new products

Polish customers XTB they can maintain their accounts in three different currencies - PLN, EUR and USD. For many investors, the "basic" account will remain the one kept in the national currency - PLN. It is perfect for investing in instruments denominated in Polish zloty. However, purchasing shares on foreign markets will involve the need to exchange currencies. From March 12, users of the XTB investment platform can easily and conveniently exchange currencies between their accounts directly on the platform xNUMX xStation.

- This is another step towards the democratization of investing. Our goal is to minimize investment barriers for anyone who would like to invest their funds on foreign stock exchanges. Thanks to the introduction of our internal currency exchange, investors will be able to complete the entire process only in XTB, without the need to look for more attractive options on the market – says Omar Arnaout, president of the management board of XTB.

Exchange currency directly on the XTB platform

The new service is related to the provision of brokerage services - it does not constitute currency exchange activities - therefore the converted funds can be used to purchase financial instruments quoted in another currency. However, the currency exchange conditions for the broker's clients are extremely attractive. To convert currencies, you must have at least two accounts in different currencies. In the case of two accounts with the same currency, you can still freely transfer funds between them. However, there is a limit for one currency conversion, which is as much as EUR 14. The exchange commission is determined by a parameter and during business days it will amount to 000% of the amount of funds exchanged (0,5% on weekends and holidays).

Currency exchange at XTB – how does it work?

It's simple - just log in to your account xStation 5 account and you will use the option "Transfer". You can also exchange in Investor's room, via the tab "Internal transfer". All you need to do is select which account you want to transfer the funds to, and the system will automatically convert the selected amount at the current exchange rate and inform you about the commission amount.
