End of the XTB promotion "0% commission for shares *"

created Paweł Mosionek24 Września 2018

Too good to be true - the moment had to come. After more than five months of duration, the XTB "0% commission for shares *" promotion has come to an end. But let us reassure you - the stock offer of the largest Polish broker is still very competitive in relation to market rivals.

XTB stock offer

In mid-March this year. X-Trade Brokers has extended its offer with approximately 1500 new instruments available for trading - stocks and ETFs. Thus, it opened the way for investors to speculate in 16 new international markets. At the same time, it was decided to launch a promotion, where each month the first 5 transactions made on shares were free of commission up to a total turnover of EUR 30 (We described the details of the promotion here). Then, fees were calculated in accordance with the price list. The rate for the Polish exchange was 0,20%.

The provision of 5 "commission-free" transactions disappears from the XTB offer. Nevertheless, the previously established commission values are significantly reduced, thanks to which XTB's share offer remains one of the cheapest on the domestic market. Additionally, the minimum fee for a single transaction was reduced:

  • Poland (WSE) - 0,2% min. PLN 2,99
  • Europe - 0.12% min. 4,99 EUR
  • USA - 0.12% min. $ 4.99
  • Great Britain - 0.12% min. £ 4.99

A detailed price list for the stock market is located here.

Omar Arnaout, President of XTB:

"The goal of our new offer is to dominate the Polish stock market. At the same time, we strive to be a complete investment company that offers a variety of products to all investors, regardless of their approach to risk. "

The stock offer can also be tested on a demo account, and all types of instruments are available on one account and one platform. Access to listings is also completely free, regardless of the type of account.
