Cryptocurrencies under thatched roofs in the USA

Cryptocurrencies are becoming more and more popular in the USA. And this is not about investment fashion, but their actual adoption in everyday life and business, for which promoters have fought for years blockchain technology. Cryptocurrencies from Burger King, NFT from McDonald's

On November 1, Burger King started an interesting promotional campaign. Clients using the application Robinhood will be able to receive free cryptocurrencies in restaurants of this chain in the USA. Anyone who orders for min. $ 5 and register it in the app, it will get free Dogecoins (DOGE), Bitcoin (BTC) or Ethereum (ETH). There is a total of 2 million DOGE, 200 ETH and 20 BTC to be given. However, one person can only get one reward per day.

Burger King has been betting on cryptocurrencies for a long time. Already in 2016, in some of the chain's restaurants in the Netherlands, it was possible to pay for orders via BTC. However, from 2020 it is possible in some branches in South America.

Competition, however, is also awake. McDonald's relies on non-exchangeable tokens. First NFT by McDonald's were introduced in China to celebrate the 31st anniversary of the restaurant's operation in the country. This country was chosen as one of the most interested markets in the world. Nothing is known about the plans for the USA or Europe, and even more so for Poland.
