Is this the end of declines in stock markets? [Video comment]

created Forex Club23 May 2022

Last week on the financial markets was extremely turbulent. When the S&P 500 index has fallen by more than 20% since its last peak, the market could - already officially - declare a bear market. It could, because in the last hour of Friday's trading, the buyers took the floor and they not only rebounded from the key support level, but also continued their purchases during Monday morning. Indices that have historically bottomed the market fairly well are re-entering attractive levels - are stocks already low enough? Considering the complicated macroeconomic situation, the answer to this question is more difficult than it may seem. Epidemiological restrictions in China, the increasingly hawkish Fed policy and the war in Ukraine are the most important factors that may affect the next weeks on Wall Street.
