Leverage reduction for 1: 100 for Poles
Forex financial leverage
The service of the Stock Exchange newspaper Parkiet reports that a decision has already been made to reduce the leverage on the Forex market for Poles. The Polish Financial Supervision Authority, after talking with representatives of brokerage companies, decided to change the level of maximum leverage from the initially planned 1: 50 to 1: 100. A turbulent discussion on this subject lasted from last year and after the proposal to limit the leverage to 1: 50 appeared many complaints from forex companies. We are pleased that the limit has been raised twice.
Most Polish brokerage houses usually offer such a lever, so most investors should not feel these changes. Quoting the article "However, the handle has been made - starting from July 16, Polish forex platforms will be able to offer a maximum leverage of 1 to 100." The information does not specify whether the changes will also apply to foreign brokers who accept clients from Poland, but it can be assumed that, however, not the possible reduction of the leverage will ultimately benefit ... Foreign brokers.
Of the available Polish Forex brokers, who are presented on our website, only HFT Brokers offers a leverage greater than 1: 100 and only on accounts in the Start and Active NDD packages - this is the only company from our offer in which changes can be expected.
