Report from the FxCuffs 2018 Conference

created Paweł Mosionek23 March 2018

Once again, Krakow proved that it is the Polish capital of investors. 16 and 17 in March 2018 in ICE Congress Center took place the fourth edition of the Conference, Fair and Gala FxCuffs. Over 5, thousands of participants who have been attracted this year's event are proof that we are talking about the largest industry event not only on the national scale, but also on Europe.

FxCuffs is… People

Krakow investment congress, FxCuffs 2018, is an ideal opportunity to broaden your knowledge and exchange views with other traders, as well as speakers. It is people filled with a passion for investment that create an aura that fosters the exchange of experiences and the growing awareness among Polish traders. Representatives of the industry were also present. Dozens of exhibitors, mainly Forex brokers from all over Europe, who prepared many attractions for participants in the form of unique promotions and competitions. It was also a chance to get to know your broker face to face. Also institutional clients could not complain about boredom. The B2B area, which was separated on the third floor of the ICE facility, gathered industry professionals, liquidity providers, technological start-ups and creators of innovative solutions that can contribute to providing even more advanced services to their clients.

Outstanding speakers

The educational part is the element that attracts the greatest attention of individual traders. Both rooms were filled to the brim many times. Forex, real estate investments and art, new investment concepts, psychology, factual debates, as well as cryptocurrencies that have been fashionable in recent years - these are the main issues raised by the speakers.

The star of the conference was Steve Ward - a world-famous psychologist specializing in mental coaching of professional traders. This is without a doubt the personality many have been waiting for (read the interview with Steve in a separate article). I was not disappointed. Rafał Zaorski also attracted a full room talking about his "Theory of Speculation" and Piotr Głowacki with a lecture entitled "Gold, Marijuana, Bitcoin and others - or how to choose instruments for the Global Portfolio".

One thing is for sure. Regardless of the level of knowledge and investment interests - everyone could find something for themselves.

59 thousand PLN for charity

For the third year in a row, during the first day of the conference, traders were simultaneously fighting the market. The goal was lofty - the proceeds from trade were to be donated to charity. This is Charity Trading, a joint initiative of the FxCuffs Foundation and the Trading Jam Association. Unofficial results say about 59 thousand. PLN of profit, which will be transferred in 50% to the action "Investors for children" supported by the Foundation, and the remaining 50% to another goal chosen by the Trading Jam team.

Expo Invest Cuffs 2019

The FxCuffs Foundation prepares changes. Changes aimed at increasing the attractiveness and range of the conference. The effect of these decisions will be the change of the name of the event from "FxCuffs", which closely relates to the currency market, to a name closer to broadly understood investments.

The next edition is planned for March 22-23, 2019, and the organizers will certainly prepare even more surprises and news for us. If you were a participant of this year's event, we encourage you to participate in an anonymous survey on FxCuffs 2018 - this will allow the Foundation to meet the expectations of an even larger group of investors!
