IC Markets waives fees for bank transfer withdrawals
IC Markets, an international Forex / CFD broker, originating from Australia, announced the resignation from charging fees for withdrawals by bank transfer from investment accounts.
AUD 20 For Withdrawal? Not any more.
Until now, the broker has charged a fee of AUD 20 (about PLN 60) for withdrawing funds via an international transfer. The amount of the fee was fixed, regardless of the transaction amount. This often deterred traders from depositing less funds. While it is possible to transfer funds free of charge by credit or debit card, the withdrawal could only be made up to the amount of deposited funds. Thus, the cost of any subsequent payment of any profits by bank transfer had to be taken into account. Now, with the change of the bank handling transfers (Citi Bank), the problem was resolved.
The abolition of fees applies to international transfers for customers with accounts in IC Markets Global (Seychelles - FSA) and IC Markets EU (Cyprus - CySEC). For accounts under Australian jurisdiction, the commission is still valid, but under ASIC regulations, the broker no longer accepts clients from Europe.
