The month's trader earned 184 in June USD [Tickmill Competition]

created Paweł MosionekJuly 1 2017

It is safe to say that the award in the Tickmill competition In this case it's "small on a cotton pad". It is true that it amounts to as much as $ 1000, with the profit generated by Vladimir, considered the trader of the month in June 2017, it is relatively little. A trader from Russia made as much as $ 183 in 888 days. This is about 13 times less than in the case of May winner Jinyan.

Effectiveness above 80%

Vladimir concluded 79 transactions - it is relatively little impressive, however, the percentage of profitable transactions versus lossy, which was as much as 63 (79,95%). The rate of return is not staggering and amounts to "only" 36,77%, but it should be remembered that the multiplication of large capital is associated with a number of difficulties (large volume, greater mental burden).

Trader's strategy of the month

Looking at the best trader's traditions from June, it's easy to see that he was based on daytrading using a large volume. On average, he opened positions with a value of around 20 flights, and the largest position amounted to as much as 75 flights. The items were not kept for the next session and were most often closed after a few hours. He traded mainly on major currency pairs such as EUR / USD, USD / CHF, GBP / USD and USD / JPY. He did not use pending orders.

Interview with a trader

How long have you been involved in trading and how did your adventure begin?

I started 2015 in August. One of my friends claimed that you can not make money on the Forex market. I decided to check it out.

What is your strategy and methodology of risk management?

I mainly rely on technical analysis and my own EA. In the area of risk management, everything depends on the invoice. In the case of some I use very risky strategies, in others I set a very narrow SL, counting on a high RR ratio.

What are the good habits of a trader?

First of all, the ability to understand risk. Markets are completely unpredictable - technical analysis is only a tool to enter positions, the rest is really mathematics and statistics.

Do you have an unforgettable transaction in your history?

I earned the most from a pair of GBP / USD. I pulled 150 000 USD in a single position.

What would you advise beginners?

To start with a small step technique and do not try to "eat with large spoons" right away. Although now trading on 500 face value bills of thousands of dollars, I started with micro accounts.

What is the most important thing for you at Forex broker?

Quick deposits and withdrawals, uninterrupted execution of orders and functional Customer Panel.

competition rules

The trader is selected by the Tickmill Jury. The win is not only determined by the rate of return - it is the total that matters. Overall, i.e. the factors such as earned profit, position management, risk and trading skills are taken into account. There is also one more necessary condition - interviewing the broker and consent to make the account history public. Only then does the prize of $ 1 go to the trader's investment account.

The principles introduced are aimed not only at showing that you can make money on the Forex market, but also consciously educate and encourage sharing experience with other traders.
