VIC Trader - Master Wall Street Methods

There are many books on investing, but many of them are based on theoretical assumptions and academic formulas. Practitioners, who not only spent a lot of time on the market, write in the market, but can also boast verifiable results. So this is a real currant, because Victor Sperandeo is an American trader who began his career on Wall Street after high school and has been successful for years.

About the author

victor sperandeoVictor Sperandeo (Trader VIC) is an American trader, and in recent years also a financial commentator and author of books on investing. He started his career on Wall Street as soon as he finished high school. When he was 25, he already had the first investment company, which only took half a year to become the largest option dealer in the world. Currently, he manages two companies operating in the financial industry: Alpha Financial Technologies LLC and EAM Partners LP. His tailor is investments in the energy and metallurgy sectors.

For years, he managed not only his property, but also entrusted by the richest people in the world, such as George Soros or Leon Cooperman. This is not surprising, since his investment fund has achieved a rate of return that even the financial pyramids do not promise. Through 18 average annual return rate reached a dizzying level of 72%.

He cooperated with many investment banks: HSBC, RBS and Nomura, so he quickly became an expert invited to the trade press: "The Wall Street Journal" and "Stock & Commodities". He began commenting on economic events regularly on CNBC, CNN and Fox. An interview with him was also included in the popular book about famous traders "Masters of the financial markets" by Jack Schwager. He was one of the few who actually predicted the financial crash of October 19.10.1987, 100. It is also on the list of the Top XNUMX Traders in Wall Street History.

He compares trading on the stock market to poker, where psychology and mathematics matter. As befits a seasoned trader, he always plays according to his own rules and adheres to the set plan. Emotional discipline trusts more than intelligence, because in his opinion it is the basis for achieving success on the stock market.

One of his principles is:

"Never buy just because the price is low and never sell only because the price is high."
