A year ago, in forecasts for 2020, I expected an upward year in the US indices in line with the presidential cycle, but after a 10-12% correction at the beginning of the year. Of course, I did not predict such sharp turmoil related to the coronavirus. How it was, everyone can see now. Based on the distribution of the Pring cycles, I expected a beginning of a decline in bonds, a continuation of growth in the US stock markets, a beginning of increases in commodities and a weak dollar policy. Looking at the cyclicality, it was possible to point out potential turning points in time with some accuracy crude and bonds. We will start the next meeting with a summary of the forecast for 2020, and then:
- I will try to indicate what phase of the cycle we are in.
- What are the prospects for assets such as bonds, commodities or stocks in 2021?
- We will take a closer look at the US stock market.
- I wonder if the seasonality in 2021 will also work as well as last year?
