U.S. stocks up ahead of today's Thanksgiving

The Dow Jones industrial average hit its mid-August high (+0,28%) yesterday. They went up yesterday too S & P 500 (+0,59%), which reached the highest level since September, and the Nasdaq Composite (+0,99%).. Today, due to the Thanksgiving holiday in the US, the US stock market will be closed.

Slight increases in Europe

On the stock markets in Asia and Oceania, the gains of the main indices slightly prevailed today. Malaysian KLCI was the strongest (+2,31%). China's Shanghai Composite and Shanghai B-Share, Singapore's Straits Times and Thailand's SET Index were slightly losing.

In Europe, stock markets started with slight gains on Thursday (DAX +0,31%, CAC 40 +0,1% approx. 9:45). "Traditionally" the Turkish XU100 achieved its historical record.

The main Polish indices also gained on Thursday morning (WIG-20 +0,72 percent around 9:45).

Yields of 10-year treasury bonds were falling this morning in virtually all developed countries. Yields of US 10-year bonds were approaching their low from a week ago. The profitability of Polish 10-year bonds fell to the lowest level in almost 2 months (6,643%).

Copper and precious metals are more expensive

Crude oil contracts on NYMEX and ICE fell slightly this morning (WTI -0,53 percent, Brent -0,59 percent around 9:10 am). The prices of these contracts are currently slightly above their minimums from the second half of September. Copper futures rose slightly this morning (+0,48% around 9:30 a.m.) and precious metals (gold +0,54%, silver +1,03%, platinum +0,38%, palladium +0,73%).

The US dollar weakened slightly this morning (EUR/USD +0,9%, USD / JPY -0,3 percent approx. 9:10).

Approx. time. At 9:10 am, changes in the Polish zloty exchange rate were small (EUR/PLN +0,11 percent, USD/PLN -0,02 percent).

The Bitcoin exchange rate against the US dollar, which fell to the lowest level in 2 years on Monday, rose slightly this morning for the third day in a row (+0,41 percent around 9:05 a.m.) reaching the level of 16556 points.
