Admirals is introducing microlights for CFDs on indices

created Forex ClubJune 29 2022

At the end of June 2022, Admirals broker (previously Admiral Markets) announced the introduction of microlots on CFDs based on major stock indices. This is great news, especially for traders operating with less capital. Details below.

CFDs on indices with micro lots

Microlights are extremely desirable for investors who trade long-term or do not want to spend too much capital on their investments. Thanks to them, the selection of the appropriate transaction volume to the acceptable risk and the strategy used is much easier. Hence, Admirals decided to reduce the minimum trade size on the most popular index CFDs from the minimum 0.1 lot per 0.01 lot so far.

In the case of Trade.MT5 and Zero.MT5 accounts, the smallest supported trade sizes and the step by which the position can be increased have changed:

New minimum lot for indices DAX40 i DJI30 is 0,01 (previously 0,1), and for NQ100 0,02 (previously 0,1). The lot size increment has been changed to 0,01 for all instruments mentioned above. But that's not the end of the news!

Extended trading hours

Each week, Admirals clients will now have 2 hours more to trade the European DAX40 index and more than 1 hour more to trade each of the major US indices. Updated times now include the late evening hours in place of an earlier trading halt.
