On Friday, the rise in this index continued (+0,92%) and the S&P 500 reached its next 2-month high.

Even more spectacular were the increases Nasdaq Composite (+ 7,4% on Thursday and +1,9% on Friday), as a result of which the 2-session increase in this index (+ 9,3%) was the strongest since November 2008 (4 months before the end of the then Great Bear market).

Hang Seng ascends

On the Asian and Oceania stock exchanges, slight drops in the value of the main indices slightly prevailed today (the strongest - 1,06 percent - was recorded by the Japanese Nikkei 225. The strongest - by 1,7 percent - was increased by Hang Seng, which over the past two weeks increased by 2 percent was the strongest index in the world as it tried to break out of its 20-year lows, the highest level in more than a year was today the Indian SENSEX 13, which has come close to its all-time high from last year.

Over the past month, the strongest WSE sector index was WIG-Górnictwo (+ 39,2%). WIG-Banki was second in terms of the scale of growth (+ 0,3%). The smallest increase in this period was recorded by WIG-Nieruchomości (+1,22 percent). Among the components of the WIG 20, almost 12 percent. stocks rose today Pepco Group NV. Among the components of mWIG 40, the prices of XTB and Bank Handlowy shares reached their new cyclical highs today.

From their Friday's 3-week lows, the yield of 10-year government bonds slightly rebounded today, remaining above 4%. The 10-year yield of the Polish government was the lowest in over a month, but it remained above the level of 7%.

Natural gas contract prices in Europe fell by more than 11 percent on Friday. to the lowest levels since June (Netherlands) -July (UK). American gas (Henry Hub on NYMEX) was more than 5 percent more expensive this morning.

The dollar is recovering

The US dollar was recovering slightly this morning against other major currencies it suffered on Thursday and Friday (EUR / USD -0,28%, USD / JPY +0,64%).

The zloty was slightly weakening this morning (approx. 9:30 am EUR / PLN +0,33%, USD / PLN +0,58%), but the exchange rates of the euro and the US dollar against the Polish currency remained close to their lowest levels in 3 months.

Bitcoin rate against the US, which fell briefly below USD 16000 last week and was the lowest in almost 2 years, then surged again above the US 20000 level, then corrected this increase again this morning hitting below USD 16000, tried to make up for these losses by growing approx. . time. 9:10 by 2,23% compared to yesterday's level.
