Porsche debuts on the stock exchange [Closer to the Stock Exchange]

created Forex Club28 Września 2022

It is scheduled for Thursday, September 29 IPO of Porsche AG. Investors from Poland, although they cannot participate directly in the initial public offering of a well-known manufacturer of luxury sports cars, will be able to trade Porsche shares in XTB from the date of IPO. If the issue of new shares is successful, then the valuation of Porsche AG may reach as much as EUR 85 billion, which makes the company less attractive in terms of indicators than Volkswagen, Ford or General Motors. According to HSBC analysts, the valuation of Porsche at the level of EUR 70-75 billion may be excessive. This amount would constitute almost 80% of the valuation of the entire Volkswagen concern. However, in favor of the manufacturer of the iconic 911 model, the company's operating profitability has been increasing in recent years. In 2021 alone, it amounted to as much as EUR 5,3 billion.

CD Projekt returns to favor

Slightly smaller, but still enormous interest from investors has been arousing in recent days CD Projekt. The game producer's shares have returned in recent days above the psychological level of PLN 100. Perhaps it is related to the fact that in the fourth quarter of this year, another expansion pack for The Witcher 3 will be released, which will not only improve its performance on new-generation consoles, but also provide players with new content, known to fans from the series edition of the series. Netflix. Meanwhile, the announcement of the so-called windfall tax, i.e. the taxation of extraordinary profits of State Treasury companies, undermines the already weak sentiment of investors towards the Polish stock exchange.
