CTrader platform with another update. Desktop version 4.2 is now available

Spotware has announced the release of a new version of the cTrader Desktop platform, marked as 4.2. According to the creators, the new installment opens one of the largest sets of technical improvements in the last few years and largely focuses on developers working in cTrader ecosystem.

cTrader Desktop 4.2 - what's new?

The cTrader Desktop platform has been "Migrated" to the latest version. The NET6 version offers access to many new features for developer use, while retaining the old NET4 framework for backward compatibility with all existing cBots and indicators.

Among other features, cTrader has changed the way algo files (EAs, indicators, scripts) are written by removing all dependencies on cTrader applications in the process of creating them. The entire build process is now done using .NET compilation tools, which gives users the ability to use any IDE to work on their code, from Visual Studio do JetbrainsRider, to easily reference other libraries from NuGet, to integrate their algo with .NET products, and to compile cBots and pointers with the command "Dotnet build"and even writing code and compiling it on your system Linux and/ or Mac.
